  1. Pastor Bobby says:

Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have died. I cried out,
“I’m slipping!” and your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When
doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
    (Psa 94:17-19 NLT)

Prayer: LORD, there have been times when I felt hopeless and without
the prospect of joy ever being in my life again. But You brought me
through it and gave me hope. And in any situation that arises in the
future, You will again be my hope. I now know I can come through any
difficulty with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  2. Pastor Bobby says:

Then Job answered the LORD: “I am unworthy–how can I reply to you?
I put my hand over my mouth. (Job 40:3- 4 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, sometimes I too feel worthless and completely unworthy
to even cry out to You in my distress. I wonder how You could even
answer me when I have failed so many times! In those times, help me
remember that You have made me worthy to be in relationship with You
and You love me, not because of anything I did, but because of what
Jesus has already done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  3. Pastor Bobby says:

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify
your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have
delivered me from the depths of the grave. The arrogant are
attacking me, O God; a band of ruthless men seeks my life– men
without regard for you. But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and
gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
    (Psa 86:12-15 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, sometimes it seems that problems come from everywhere
at once, and some come from other people. When people cause the
difficulties I face, help me not look to them, but to You. You have
rescued me from desperate situations in the past, and You will do it
again, because Your love and compassion do not change. Thank You for
Your limitless, compassionate, unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  4. Pastor Bobby says:

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out
weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with him. (Psa 126:5-6 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, I have not considered my tears as seed to sow for joy
to come. And when I am in pain and heartache, doing something for
the future usually ranks far behind wanting to ease the immediate
discomfort. Help me see those times as opportunities to sow good
things for a future harvest of joy, even if I don’t feel anything
good at the time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  5. Pastor Bobby says:

In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the
LORD came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo:
“The LORD was very angry with your forefathers. Therefore tell the
people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’
declares the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the
    LORD Almighty. (Zec 1:1-3 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, I often go through my days living a “normal” life,
without expecting Your interruption of my “normal”. But there may be
a day, a specific day, month, and year, when You speak to me or put
something in my spirit that I need to know. Help me not be so caught
up in “normality” that I fail to recognize it when You do. In Jesus’
    name, Amen.

  6. Pastor Bobby says:

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your
freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in
love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your
neighbor as yourself.” If you keep on biting and devouring each
other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say,
live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the
    sinful nature. (Gal 5:13-16 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, when I feel provoked or mistreated, it is easy lash
out with rude or hurtful words with an excuse like, “I had to defend
myself”, “It’s just the way I am”, or something else as foolish.
Help me not make excuses for bad behavior, but be quick to confess
it to You as the sin that it is and accept Your forgiveness. In
    Jesus’ name, Amen.

  7. Pastor Bobby says:

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear
God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden
thing, whether it is good or evil. (Eccl 12:13-14 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, if there is anything in my life that hurts my
relationship with You, remove it. If I need something to be closer
to You, add it. I would rather You judge me now, in love, and do
what is necessary to change me than to face a different kind of
judgment later. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  8. Pastor Bobby says:

I am the LORD, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your
deliverance; I declared what I would do, and then I did it — I
saved you. No foreign god has ever done this before. You are
witnesses that I am the only God,” says the LORD. “From eternity to
eternity I am God. No one can oppose what I do. No one can reverse
    my actions.” (Isa 43:11-13 NLT)

Prayer: LORD, thank You for the confidence I can have in Your
unfailing promises. They are more certain than the sun rising in the
morning! What a comfort it is to know that when you answer a prayer
for me, no one can take it from me. When I see the sun in the sky
today, help me remember to thank You for all the prayers You have
answered and everything You have done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  9. Pastor Bobby says:

He let loose the east wind from the heavens and led forth the south
wind by his power. He rained meat down on them like dust, flying
birds like sand on the seashore. He made them come down inside their
camp, all around their tents. They ate till they had more than
enough, for he had given them what they craved. (Psa 78:26-29 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, many things I want are not good for me, and the things
that would be best, I seldom know to ask for. Give me only what is
good for me, and help me submit my “cravings” to You. I want to use
wisdom in what I ask You for, because I may get it! In Jesus’ name,
    Amen.

  10. Pastor Bobby says:

You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Teach the
older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and
sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older
women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or
addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. (Titus 2:1-3 NIV)

Prayer: LORD, never allow me to think that I am too old to learn or
that I know enough! And help me be mindful that no matter what I do,
I am influencing someone somewhere by the way I live. Keep me humble
and “teachable” so I will be able to teach others the things that
You have taught me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
